About Me
Hi, I'm Borja. I was born in Spain, obtained my BS in Digital Media in Film, and got the opportunity to live abroad and work in post-production in Los Angeles and Montreal for the last decade.
I started doing mastering and finishing mostly for films and some TV shows. I delivered projects to studios like Sony Pictures, Universal, and Lionsgate, and streaming platforms including Netflix, Amazon, and HBO. Later, I got to supervise Digital Intermediate (DI) processes, design ACES color workflows for 2K/4K and HDR, ensuring technical precision for DCI/SMPTE standards, and handling processes from conform and color prep to final QC and secure delivery (DCP, IMF, AS-02, Tape). I'm also certified in Dolby Vision mastering.
For indie films, I have mostly prepared the DCP files for submission to Film Festival premieres around the world. For the past few years, I've been perfecting my remote workflow, testing and improving the process to work with international clients.
I'm bringing my expertise directly to independent filmmakers and creators, as I saw a need for affordable, reliable DCP services that don't compromise on quality or technical standards.
